The author’s main purpose in writing the book “Role of Shia in Iranian and Islamic culture and civilization” is to revisit the history of thoughts and culture of the disciples of ahl al-bayt in the world of Islam as well as in Iran and also to clarify the part this group had in molding and perpetuation of the Islamic culture.
